Compensation: $20-$30+/hr, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on landfill systems.
- Collaborate with the Lead Gas Technician to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Foster strong relationships with landfill staff, consultants, and suppliers.
- Utilize gas analyzers for monitoring gas wells and probes.
- Perform maintenance on pneumatic pumps, including inspections and repairs.
- Oversee liquid levels in gas wells.
- Execute HDPE pipe fusion tasks.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in gas technology.
- Capability to adhere to established protocols with limited supervision.
- Willingness to learn and navigate the landfill safely.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to perform diverse tasks daily.
- Provide on-call support for the gas collection system.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Competence in data collection, interpretation, and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with leachate collection systems.
