Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes with other specialists.
- Reviews patients' functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on thorough assessments of potential development and incorporates participation by significant others whenever possible.
- Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
- Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients' functional goals.
- Communicates effectively with other professional and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation.
- Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
- Current medical license and certification.
- Excellent communication skills. Speech therapists must clearly explain treatment programs, motivate patients, and listen to patients' concerns in order to provide effective therapy.
- Ability to explain complex medical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
