Key Responsibilities- Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you'll provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations.
- You'll supervise the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in the delivery of direct resident care, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the highest level of care and make adjustments as needed.
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Capable of maintaining regular attendance and adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to supervise other employees and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.
- Meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
- Physical and sensory requirements include walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to hear and respond to pages, and ability to distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures.
- BLS certification is required.
