We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. in Pasadena, CA. As a Registered Nurse - Telemetry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with primary care providers to manage ongoing care for patients with chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health histories and vital signs, to identify health needs and determine appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with primary care providers to manage ongoing care for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
- Coordinate patient care by scheduling follow-up visits, managing referrals to specialists, and ensuring continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and clinic operations.
- Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment.
- Req: CA RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, MAB/CPI, Fire Card
- 1 yr experience in primary care and immunization administration working with Pediatrics, Family medicine, and Women's health
- Spanish speaking preferred
