Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at our Denny Way clinic in Seattle, Washington. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for managing a panel of patients, providing comprehensive care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a panel of patients for a full spectrum primary care clinic, taking care of acute and chronic care needs.
- Develop a high-functioning care team with the goal that every person works at the top of license and scope.
- Provide patients and family members with counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow-up as appropriate during each patient visit.
- Collaborate with other site physicians, specialists, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the best interest of the patients.
- Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with Premera credentialing/privileging policy.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation.
- Provide consultation to other clinic providers either in person, by video, or by telephone.
- Provide after-hours care service support as part of the on-call program.
- Currently licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington by hire date.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Geriatrics.
- Unrestricted DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
- Ability to be credentialed under Medicare.
- Proficient in use of the EMR, with Epic experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem-solving, and communication skills.
