About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Safeway Manufacturing Plants. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed maintenance plans to ensure our equipment operates at optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Plan and execute mechanical and electrical maintenance and upkeep of equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Manage maintenance records, track work orders, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Develop and execute plant equipment revitalization projects to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Partner with maintenance and operations departments to develop maintenance schedules and ensure availability of necessary parts.
  • Execute continuous improvements events to drive out loss and increase line efficiencies.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of related experience in a high-output manufacturing or packaging facility.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System expertise.
  • Project management and capital project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to work off-shift and weekends.
