">Job Description
">We are seeking an experienced Installation and Project Leadership Professional to join our team at the Norfolk Service Center. This role combines facility maintenance and fabrication shop responsibilities, requiring a high amount of travel to other Veolia Service Centers for capital project support and occasional visits to customer sites.
">The ideal candidate will have a blend of facility management, project leadership, and hands-on technical skills to drive growth in our services operations.
">Duties and Responsibilities
">This role involves:
">- ">
- Leading on-site installation of CAPEX projects at Veolia facilities">
- Providing leadership and instilling best EHS standards for site teams">
- Basic on-site project management, including material control and receiving, and on-site spot engineering">
- Managing daily/weekly work tasks and schedules for on-site teams">
- Collaborating with CAPEX project managers to ensure smooth and efficient operations">
- Assisting on-site teams with basic installation and machinery troubleshooting">
- Reading and redlining engineering drawings and P&IDs">
- Working in partnership with project engineering teams">
- Supporting mechanical or electrical or other physical installation activities">
- Maintaining records and reports as required or needed for installations">
- Working according to plant or facility maintenance leader directions">
- Demonstrating excellent EHS standards and following policies/procedures to maintain injury-free work environments">
- Assisting team members with machinery repairs and installation troubleshooting">
- Installing new equipment or rearranging existing equipment">
- Performing preventative maintenance activities at facilities or within mobile fleets">
- Acting as a resource for training or maintenance operations when needed">
- Performing building and ground maintenance">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you should possess:

- High school diploma or equivalent">
- Minimum 1 year of PVC plumbing or mechanical repair and maintenance work experience or training">
- Ability to read and redline engineering drawings and P&IDs">
- Knowledge of OSHA standards">
- Problem-solving skills with a reliable and thorough approach to work">
- Ability to perform confined space entry in small tanks with 14x18
