We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Jukebox Health. As a Home Modifications Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping older adults successfully age in place.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting home safety evaluations to identify potential hazards and develop personalized recommendations for improvement.
- Generating reports and educating clients and caregivers on basic home modifications and activity modifications to enhance safety and independence.
- Providing education and training on fall prevention strategies and techniques.
- Establishing rapport and engaging in collaborative discussions with clients and caregivers to meet their individual needs.
Requirements:
- Florida OT registration and licensure required.
- Availability for home safety checkups in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area.
- Experience working with the geriatric population (1-3 years experience preferred).
- Demonstrated effective communication and clinical reasoning skills.
