Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinding Specialist to join our team at Techniks Inc. This role involves setting up and operating CNC grinders to meet precise specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in CNC grinding and/or training, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to the base salary, a $1,000 signing bonus is offered for new hires.

The work environment is dynamic, with 4-10 hour days and Fridays off. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, life insurance, long-term disability, and eight paid holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC ID cylindrical grinders to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Inspect first-piece quality and own work to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Operate precision gauging equipment to verify part dimensions.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures is essential.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of CNC grinding experience and/or training preferred.
  • Mathematical skills, including decimals, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
  • Ability to interpret instructions in written and oral form.
