Position OverviewWe are seeking an Executive Director to lead our organization and drive strategic growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization. Key duties include:
Leadership and Management- Provide leadership and direction to staff, ensuring the organization's mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning, and community outreach.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure funding from diverse sources.
- Oversee the financial health of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring sustainable financial practices.
- Work with the Board of Directors to fulfill the organization's mission. Communicate effectively with the Board, providing timely and accurate information necessary for the Board to function properly and make informed decisions.
- Enhance the organization's public image to expand interest and support. Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven leadership experience in the non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising and resource development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to implement long-term planning.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (master's degree preferred).
