Key Responsibilities

  1. Engage closely with clients to grasp their business needs and technical challenges.
  2. Architect cloud-based solutions that align with client requirements while complying with industry best practices and security protocols.
  3. Provide specialized knowledge in public cloud and enterprise technology, effectively advocating for Google Cloud.
  4. Design comprehensive modernization strategies that utilize cloud services, automation, and emerging technologies to improve performance, reliability, and security.
  5. Create detailed modernization roadmaps, encompassing migration strategies, cost analyses, and risk evaluations.
  6. Oversee the execution of infrastructure modernization initiatives, including infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment, configuration management, and testing.
  7. Offer insights on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructures necessary for successful solution implementation, providing best practice guidance to optimize Google Cloud utilization.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure effective project execution.
  9. Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
  10. Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact on our solutions and services.
  11. Participate in pre-sales efforts, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations.

Qualifications

Is formal education overrated? We think so. However, to connect with you, we may seek at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, preferably complemented by an MBA.

Possession of current Google Cloud Certifications is advantageous, especially if you hold the Professional Cloud Architect certification.

  1. 8+ years of relevant experience.
  2. Familiarity with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud implementations, and on-premise-to-cloud migration strategies.
  3. Experience in network infrastructure, security, and application development.
  4. Proven track record in architecting, designing, and implementing distributed global cloud-based systems.
  5. Expertise in technology solutions, the enterprise technology procurement process, and large-scale computing solutions.
  6. Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  7. Understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure as code.
  8. Capacity to learn and comprehend emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT landscape.
  9. Aptitude for delivering results, collaborating cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for expansion.
