  • Evaluation: Evaluate and document patient progress toward attaining expected outcomes.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medication and intravenous solutions in a safe and effective manner.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report significant alterations in patient condition to physicians and communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Education and Counseling: Educate patients and families on health-related topics and provide emotional support during times of stress or crisis.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensure: Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers completion and ACLS certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of Critical Care experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software/Hardware: Meditech experience preferred.
  • Cardiac Cath Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cardiac cath experience.
