Job Title: School Psychologist

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Ithaca, NY area

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a School Psychologist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide psychological services and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions to students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student learning
  • Conduct counseling sessions with students and parents
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement behavioral interventions

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current New York state license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting
  • Familiarity with New York state regulations and guidelines pertaining to special education and psychological services in schools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in school psychology or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and best practices
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions
