Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist doctors during cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures
  • Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms, including instrument sterilization
  • Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures
  • Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab
  • Scrub in during procedures, assist the physician in maneuvering catheters
  • Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data
  • Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures
  • Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • ARRT, BLS, CCI, and state-specific licensing
