Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced, professional, and driven individuals to fill the role of Sales Associate. The ideal candidates will possess outstanding customer service abilities, strong communication skills, and the capability to remain motivated and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recognize that customer satisfaction is the foundation of our business and strive to ensure every customer is satisfied.
- Assess each customer's vehicle requirements through effective questioning and attentive listening.
- Showcase both new and pre-owned vehicles, including conducting test drives.
- Facilitate the delivery of vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's features, warranty, and necessary paperwork, thereby fostering customer loyalty.
- Participate in sales meetings and maintain a follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Stay informed about new products, features, and accessories, and communicate their benefits to customers.
- Set personal income goals aligned with dealership productivity standards and develop strategies to achieve those goals.
- Report to the General Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, and performance reviews.
- Evaluate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to enhance time management and planning effectiveness.
- Understand automotive terminology and keep up-to-date with technological advancements in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Complete all required factory training and become a certified salesperson.
- Understand the federal, state, and local regulations governing retail automotive sales.
- Introduce customers to service department staff to highlight the quality and efficiency of our service operations.
- Execute sales, customer service, and job performance as outlined in the Sales Consultant Performance Checklist.
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to meet sales quotas as per dealership standards.
