Waukegan, Illinois, United States The Terrace Full time
About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Care Manager to join our team at The Terrace. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and driving census growth.

As a Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for daily census building activities in one of our Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). You will spend 30-50% of your time out of the center meeting with referral sources and doing bedside visits in hospitals.

Your primary goal is to achieve our budgeted census in this Skilled Nursing center. To do that, you will need to create and engage in outbound business-getting activities such as cold calls, hosted events, and center-based events meant to increase tours to the center.

You should be outgoing, organized, and self-directed in your efforts. You will also need to manage relevant CRM metrics to ensure measurable results are attained.

Additional responsibilities include organizing multidisciplinary services to facilitate smooth transitions from hospital to SNF, analyzing costs of medications, touring families, and ensuring intake packets are correctly signed.

This role offers flexible scheduling, employee recognition programs, annual merit increase opportunities, robust benefits packages, and refer-a-friend programs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Prior experience as an Admissions Coordinator/Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Strong relationships with existing referral sources
  • Bilingual Spanish is ideal but not required
  • Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) and CRM is ideal
  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations, reimbursement, and insurance verification
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant healthcare field
