Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level.
  • Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns.
  • Administer intravenous contrast media under the direct supervision of a physician.
  • Schedule cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
  • Position and transfer patients comfortably, immobilizing them as necessary and practicing radiation safety procedures.
  • Perform duties as an on-call technologist, train new staff, and maintain written documentation as required.
Requirements
  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography (RT-CT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified in Computed Tomography (CCT) certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures.
