Job Summary

Orion Talent is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining assigned systems, as well as providing technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and service automated equipment, including life science equipment
  • Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Develop solutions with customers to meet their needs, including recommending additional solutions from our portfolio
  • Perform preventative maintenance and administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience servicing automated equipment, with a preference for life science equipment
  • Degree or certifications in engineering or relevant fields, or equivalent work experience
  • Aptitude and attitude to service instruments and identify and troubleshoot source issues
  • Computer proficiency with programming and software, ability to learn device-specific software
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport (travel to Germany for training)

  • Competitive salary range of $75-90k
