Orion Talent is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining assigned systems, as well as providing technical support to customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and service automated equipment, including life science equipment
- Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Develop solutions with customers to meet their needs, including recommending additional solutions from our portfolio
- Perform preventative maintenance and administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner
- 2+ years of experience servicing automated equipment, with a preference for life science equipment
- Degree or certifications in engineering or relevant fields, or equivalent work experience
- Aptitude and attitude to service instruments and identify and troubleshoot source issues
- Computer proficiency with programming and software, ability to learn device-specific software
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport (travel to Germany for training)
- Competitive salary range of $75-90k
- Bonuses and additional compensation, including vehicle allowance, mileage reimbursement, tools, phone, and laptop
- Complete benefits package, including PPO medical and dental plans, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, 401k match, paid family leave, and more
- Travel opportunities, with 55-70% of travel expected
