We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Worker to join our team at Columbia Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, including vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making, and stripping, as well as removal of general and hazardous waste.
- Clean restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
- Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
- Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
- Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
- Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers.
- Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
- Ensure security of company assets.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
