Thermal Imprinting Specialist
  • Maintain cleanliness of all machinery and workspaces on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and the use of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Engage actively in the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to enhance workplace organization and efficiency.
  • Responsible for the setup and operation of thermal imprinting lines, which includes die installation, press management, troubleshooting, and adjustments to robotic systems to meet high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Conduct quality assessments, including inspections of incoming materials, and submit product samples to the Quality Control department at specified intervals for testing, initiating corrective actions for any nonconforming materials as needed.
  • Operate and oversee the thermal imprinting line in accordance with established operational parameters and procedures, making necessary adjustments to uphold exceptional quality and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the daily Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program as outlined by operational guidelines, possessing a fundamental understanding of machine functions to carry out process audits effectively.
  • Prepare spare components for TPM and preventive maintenance activities as required.
  • Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance events as they arise.
  • Identify, diagnose, and rectify faulty tooling and machine issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate technical personnel.
  • Assist Maintenance, Automation, and Toolroom teams in the repair and cleaning of tools and machinery, documenting downtime, scrap rates, and productivity metrics on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • Ensure traceability of products from the receipt of raw materials through to final quality checks.
  • Utilize company software to effectively manage material flow within the facility and maintain precise inventory records.
  • Initiate repair requests for support teams as necessary.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned that may emerge in the course of operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma with additional technical training preferred.
  • Fundamental troubleshooting abilities and mechanical skills.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools is necessary.
  • One year of technical experience is preferred but not mandatory.
