- Participate in professional development: Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest medical practices and procedures.
- Prepare documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student health information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Provide training and orientation: Provide training and orientation to school staff on health-related topics, such as first aid, medication management, and health education.
- Refer students for additional medical attention: Refer students who require additional medical attention to ensure they receive the necessary care and support.
- Report health and safety issues: Report any health and safety issues to the school administration and relevant authorities to ensure student safety and well-being.
- Respond to emergency situations: Respond to emergency medical situations, such as severe falls or allergic reactions, to ensure students receive immediate medical attention.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Must hold a valid LPN, RN, EMT, or Paramedic license.
- CPR Certification: Must hold current CPR certification.
- Fingerprint Background Check: Must pass a fingerprint background check.
