Job Title: Observer - Drug Testing Specialist

Arlluk Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to support our Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP) as an Observer - Drug Testing Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide urinalysis specimen observation services for the DDRP, working closely with the Wing Drug Demand Reduction Program Manager and the Drug Testing Program Administrative Manager. This is a part-time position, approximately 8-16 hours per month, offering competitive compensation and an exceptional benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly observe selected individuals providing urine samples for drug testing.
  • Understand the legal requirements of the position, including the possibility of testifying in a court of law.
  • Follow the directions of the WDDRPM and DTPAM.
  • Document direct observations during each individual specimen collection on appropriate forms.
  • Provide feedback on the Wing Drug Demand Reduction Programs to the DTPAM.
  • Ensure specimens are collected and bottles sealed in accordance with the Observer brief.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position.
  • Prior military experience is preferred.
  • Individuals with a record of conviction by courts-martial or civilian criminal court for any offense or history of past misconduct involving dishonesty, fraud, or drug abuse are ineligible to serve as Observers.
  • Position may be subject to random drug testing.
  • Must be available to work as a civilian contractor on a military installation during all required drill events.
  • Must have on-call availability for emergencies.
Working Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment with a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.
