Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our dynamic healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other activities related to direct patient care.
  • Arrange for patient appointments, diagnostic testing, consults, referrals, and admission to hospital.
  • Monitor and maintain stock of medical supplies and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Document patient vital statistics and encounter data into patient charts.
  • Obtain brief medical history and chief complaint from patients.
  • Calls in prescriptions for patients according to physician orders.
  • Promote positive health behaviors and self-care skills through patient education.
  • Prepare exam rooms with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Receives and returns clinically related telephone calls; screening and forwarding those requiring physician action.
  • Completes medical/physical history forms and other related information for insurance companies.
Requirements
  • Completion of a LPN program recognized by the SC State Board of Nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a LPN in South Carolina.
