Event Production Student Assistant

Position Overview:
As a Student Assistant in the University Event & Production Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the technical operations of various events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete essential training required for the role.
- Operate technical systems within the auditorium for rehearsals and events, following training protocols.
- Interpret and execute stage setup plans for diverse events.
- Conduct maintenance on auditorium technical systems as directed.
- Collaborate with peers by cross-training in all aspects of the role.
Qualifications:
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical capability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs, ascend ladders, navigate multiple staircases, and work in confined spaces.
- Flexible availability for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, staging, lighting, audio, video, and rigging systems is advantageous, though training will be provided.
