Job Title: Travel Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Travel Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced radiology environment.

About the Job

This travel radiology technologist position is available in Albany, New York, and offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic bedside care and monitor patients' vital signs.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in radiology, including X-ray machines and ultrasound devices.
  • Interpret and record electronic displays to ensure accurate patient care.
  • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
  • Initiate corrective action when necessary to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • BLS certification.
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience.
