**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Saint Joseph London. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and services based on identified needs and developmental levels. Your expertise will be essential in assessing individual patient needs, incorporating age-specific characteristics in patient education and communication, and providing individualized care relevant to patient needs.

**Responsibilities**

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Complying with safety and emergency procedures.

2. Adhering to Hospital/Department/Unit policies.

3. Documenting activities consistent with Hospital/Department/Unit Guidelines.

4. Performing critical/frequent procedures or services.

5. Providing care/services based on identified needs.

6. Utilizing required equipment for providing care/services.

7. Consulting with Hospital/department resources.

8. Demonstrating professional responsibility as per job classification.

9. Demonstrating Core Values Guest Relations/Guest Service Standards.

10. Demonstrating Core Values Based on Behavioral Standards.

11. Performing other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**

**Required Education for Staff Job Levels**

A graduate-approved curriculum for Physical Therapy Assistants is required.

**Required Licensure and Certifications**

Certification by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy is mandatory.

**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

Adequate conversational English is required to take direction from management, understand job tasks, communicate with patients and co-workers, understand safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies.

**Pay Range**

$28.39/hour
