Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Transport Specialist to join our team at Great Lakes Petroleum. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting petroleum products to our company-owned sites and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks with petroleum products, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
  • Operate trucks safely and efficiently, following Company policies and state/federal laws.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities as required by Company policy.
  • Perform miscellaneous service duties, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items on a daily basis.
  • Complete and transmit all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
  • Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean MVR.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
  • TWIC card PREFERRED.
  • Prior fuel transport/delivery driver experience PREFERRED.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
  • Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
  • Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
  • Excellent customer service demeanor.
  • Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.
