Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    • Create complex production drawings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs to meet production expectations of process improvements, productivity, and quality.
    • Develop work instructions to meet productivity and quality requirements, and conduct complex tolerance studies to ensure manufacturability.
  • Manufacturing Support
    • Provide guidance to support the work of technicians, ensuring that productivity and quality standards and measures are met.
    • Collaborate with shop floor and manufacturing engineers to ensure process capabilities.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
    • Report safety and environmental incidents to supervisor.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers.
    • Contribute to a positive teamwork environment.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1 year of manufacturing engineering/machine shop experience.
    • Proficiency with CAD programs required.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Blueprint reading.
