The ideal candidate will have a high school education or equivalent, graduation from an approved two-year school of Radiologic Technology, and current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Experience in nursing or management is preferred, and a current BLS (CPR) training is required. The shift availability includes day shifts, night shifts, and overnight shifts. The Medical specialties include Radiology, and the schedule includes variable hours. The candidate must pass a drug screen, medical history, Act 33 and 73 clearance, and background check. The essential job duties include preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating radiologic equipment, and ensuring patient care and safety during exams. The candidate must possess adequate knowledge of sterile technique to perform operating room and interventional procedures. The candidate must also ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report equipment malfunctions appropriately. The candidate must perform related administrative duties, including completing necessary forms and paperwork pertaining to examinations, charging for procedures and supplies, and inputting related data in the Hospital Information System. The candidate must also perform patient transport as necessary and perform and maintain competency as assigned. The candidate must also perform other duties as assigned.
