Compensation Details
Hourly rate ranges from $120 to $130.
Position Overview
A healthcare establishment is seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Practice physician to provide coverage for their team.
Practice Environment
- Outpatient care setting
- Focus on geriatric patients
- Average patient load of 16-18 daily
- Support from an MD, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and Registered Nurses
- Charting systems: Canopy/Greenway
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive primary care for elderly patients, including management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart failure
- No surgical procedures required
Work Schedule:
- Initial assignment of 3 months
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (possibility of a 4-day workweek)
- No on-call duties
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- DEA certification required
- Active medical license in Rhode Island
Travel and Accommodation:
- Travel and lodging arrangements will be provided
