Job Description

As a Materials Handler at Hultafors Group North America, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the movement of materials throughout the manufacturing plant, guaranteeing quality and production expectations are met for accurate and on-time completion of customer orders while prioritizing safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up work areas, obtain necessary equipment and materials, and maintain a clean and functioning workspace according to 5S standards.
  • Provide a steady flow of materials based on requests from management and/or production team members, ensuring production goals are achieved.
  • Maintain general fork truck battery health and related documentation, as well as perform basic computer functions.
  • Loading and unloading shipments, inspecting/verifying incoming goods, and accurately completing written forms and reports.
  • Weigh, record, and store work-in-progress and finished goods, replenish pick and home bin locations as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively read and follow customer orders and shipping documents.
  • Ability to work independently, carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Valid driver's license and Class 'A' certification for forklift operation required.
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
