Position Overview
The Lead Mixologist will be responsible for overseeing the bar operations, ensuring the maintenance of our established bar program while collaborating with management to enhance future initiatives. This role includes training new bartenders and bar backs on all technical aspects of bar service. Additionally, the Lead Mixologist will assist in inventory control, organization, and the upkeep of cleaning schedules and checklists. Consistency in batching and maintaining standards is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide guests through a complete and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Deliver knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service consistently.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Demonstrate extensive beverage expertise, including classic cocktails and various wine and beer selections.
  • Adhere to all company service protocols and standards.
  • Utilize the POS system accurately for order entry and payment processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages, confirming guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all guest areas, including tables and restrooms.
  • Assist with table maintenance and preparation for service.
  • Ensure accurate billing and timely provision of payment receipts.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow team members.
  • Support colleagues in their roles to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Address any guest concerns or complaints with management.
  • Help maintain cleanliness in bar and service areas.
  • Stock and prepare service items, including bar setup and cleanup.
  • Follow grooming and dress code standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong knowledge of beverages and a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Open to constructive feedback and performance improvement.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this role include visual acuity, auditory perception, verbal communication, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
