Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our skilled nursing team at The Rehabilitation Center of Independence. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role:

  • Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, including LPNs/LVNs, CNAs, and other support personnel.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care, including medication management, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility, preferably in a leadership or coordination role.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
