About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing raw materials, work-in-progress goods, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications. This involves using various laboratory testing equipment and collaborating with multiple departments within the facility. As part of the team, you will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze raw and finished goods for quality specifications
  • Implement internal quality control practices to guarantee conformity of products
  • Focus on chemical processing and testing procedures using computerized instruments or wet/gravimetric techniques
  • Maintain lab equipment in optimal working condition
  • Comply with environmental, EPA, and OSHA regulations
  • Keep accurate records of work results and activities
  • Provide technical support to the Health, Safety, and Environment group and the Supply Chain group for product MSDS and raw material sourcing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing chemical laboratory environment (internships count)
