We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health.

About the Role:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Obtain and document patient history and relevant information.
  • Administer contrast material and start IVs as required.
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to emergencies.
  • Perform quality assurance tests on CT equipment and maintain a clean and well-supplied environment.
  • Schedule patients and prepare them for CT examinations.
  • Assist in orienting new associates and training personnel on new radiology systems or equipment.
Requirements:
  • 12-24 months experience in radiology.
  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Registration, IDNS License, CPR Certification, IV Certification, and CT Registration.
Working Conditions:

The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals. The ability to work with diverse behaviors and people, flexibility in starting times, and willingness to work overtime are essential.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and to use patient handling equipment when necessary.
