Job Overview:

Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom is seeking a dedicated and personable server to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent multitasking abilities, particularly in managing food and beverage orders and deliveries. Our establishment is committed to delivering outstanding service, and we are looking for someone who can engage with our guests in a friendly and patient manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.

As a server, your primary duties will include welcoming guests, seating them, assisting with menu selections, taking and delivering orders, and clearing tables. You will also be responsible for processing cash and credit card transactions.

To enhance our guests' dining experience, it is essential that our servers are approachable, courteous, and dependable. A successful candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Essential Duties:

  • Encouraging the purchase of additional items when suitable.
  • Verifying identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol service.
  • Recording orders accurately using various methods.
  • Communicating order specifics to kitchen staff efficiently.
  • Delivering food and beverages promptly to guests.
  • Presenting checks and processing payments.
  • Keeping tables and dining areas clean and well-maintained.
  • Ensuring an exceptional customer experience at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a food service role is required.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle monetary transactions with care.
