Night Clerk

We are seeking a Night Clerk to join our team at Dillons. As a Night Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supporting the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals.

• Customer Service: Create a positive and welcoming experience for customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, including tasks such as restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out the trash.
• Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including checking product quality and reporting any discrepancies to the department manager.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the department manager and other associates to achieve sales and profit goals, and to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Adherence to Company Policies: Comply with all company policies and procedures, including food safety regulations and guidelines.

• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Effective Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and associates.
• Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Retail Experience: Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
• Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write in a second language.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead by example and promote a positive and productive work environment.
