CT Technologist Job Description

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Radiologists during invasive procedures and perform CT scan examinations as directed.
  • Communicate clinical observations during CT Scan examinations to Radiologists.
  • Present clinical history as recorded on documentation to Radiologists.
  • Ensure patient CT questionnaire is completed and reviewed prior to each exam.
  • Perform 3-D imaging functions.
  • Provide educational information to patients regarding their examination.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all materials handled within the organization.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with an emphasis on cross-sectional imaging, and/or CT preferred.
  • 1 year scanning experience preferred.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred.
  • Licensed by the State of Maryland.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • IV certification preferred.
Work Schedule:

One shift per week, 1 on-call per month, 2 holidays per year, and as needed.
