Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering work with a focus on development review, applying knowledge of engineering principles and practices in areas such as roadway design, pavement design, traffic engineering, utilities, stormwater design, floodplain management, subdivision and zoning regulations, and construction standards.
- Review engineering construction drawings/plans, engineering reports, and submittal information for conformance with submittal requirements, engineering standards, specifications, regulatory requirements, and other County standards.
- Provide engineering review comments and work with applicants to resolve comments and engineering issues.
- Administer and enforce County codes and coordinate development requirements with comprehensive plans and capital projects.
- Review development proposals for conformance with planning documents and coordinate development projects with other internal divisions and external agencies.
