Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the District Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Customer Experience: Focus on enhancing customer interactions and driving sales performance. Implement financial strategies to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that the team understands the connection between service excellence and business success. Provide ongoing feedback and recognition to team members to boost performance.

• Team Development: Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new associates. Continuously assess team performance and provide coaching and training to support their professional growth. Address daily associate relations and manage the annual performance review process.

• Visual Merchandising: Maintain the store's visual presentation in alignment with the Designer Shoe Warehouse brand standards. Stay informed about market trends and communicate relevant insights to the District Manager.

• Operational Management: Optimize resources to achieve financial targets. Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards. Educate the team on the importance of operational integrity in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Oversee daily store maintenance and inventory management.

• Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the District or Regional Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven track record of achieving results in a retail environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Excellent customer service orientation.

• Effective time management skills.

• Professional demeanor and approach.

• Basic proficiency in computer applications, including email and spreadsheet software.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move and stand for extended periods, assisting customers and team members.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

• Frequent physical activities including bending, reaching, and operating equipment.

• Manual dexterity for tasks such as processing transactions and handling merchandise.
