Job Summary: As a Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide direct care to patients over 55 years old and oversee the care of BHTs and C.NAs on assigned units.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to geriatric patients with psychiatric needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Supervise and mentor BHTs and C.NAs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Licensed RN in the State of Arizona
- Associate's degree in nursing
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Fingerprint Clearance card
- Ability to take call
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- 3+ years of experience in geriatric psychiatric nursing
