As a dedicated Class A Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes. Your role is crucial in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) under diverse traffic and weather conditions.
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to verify the accuracy of cargo and ensure compliance with all documentation requirements.
  • Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring the integrity of the goods during transit.
  • Maintain compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, inventory management, and operational procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving history.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in commercial driving.
  • Ability to present a valid, non-expired interstate Medical Card.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights up to 100 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills in English, particularly in relation to job responsibilities and safety protocols.
  • Compliance with all truck driving regulations and company policies.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and paperwork.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments, including drug screening and background checks.
  • Meet or exceed the minimum qualifications set by Quirch Foods and FMCSR.
