Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist is an allied health professional who plays a vital role in the surgical team, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses in the operating room, ensuring that equipment and supplies are properly prepared and maintained.
  • Apply sterile and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements

  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Surgical Technician.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 12 months of completion of Surgical Technology program.
