Job Overview

Objective of the Position:

  • Facilitate cost-efficient, high-quality, and prompt procurement in specialized purchasing sectors to achieve organizational goals.
  • Collaborate on projects with the German headquarters.

Main Duties:

  • Perform market research, evaluate proposals, and manage orders and invoices.
  • Choose reputable suppliers while streamlining the supplier network.
  • Spot opportunities for synergy.
  • Formulate purchasing strategies in partnership with relevant departments.
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers and draft contract documents.
  • Grant contracts in accordance with company regulations.
  • Establish supplier strategies and nurture customer-supplier relationships.
  • Address escalated issues and oversee supplier development initiatives.
  • Achieve savings objectives and foster continuous enhancement in procurement.
  • Prepare essential documentation for bids, project assessments, and project support.
  • Represent the purchasing department in project evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in negotiation techniques.
  • Familiarity with SAP R3, Contract Law, and MS-Office.
  • Understanding of products, markets, and cross-functional operations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on results.
  • Experience in Purchasing or Procurement within a manufacturing context.
  • Specialized knowledge in Plastic Injection sectors.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages such as German or Spanish are advantageous.
