Travel CVOR/Surgical Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CVOR/Surgical Technician to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CVOR/Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting the surgical team during operative procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with moving and positioning of patients
  • Clean and bandage wounds
  • Confirm procedure with patient
  • Maintain supplies and medical equipment
  • Meet technical skills as outlined in checklist

Requirements:

  • BLS certification
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience

Additional Certifications: Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Physical Demands: The CVOR/Surgical Technician should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. Techs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.

Working Environment: The CVOR/Surgical Technician will work in a fast-paced environment and must possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Certification: All CVOR/Surgical Technicians are required to hold the NBSTSA Certification in order to be eligible for employment with Travel Nurse Across America.
