Job Summary

Enercon's Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring quality standards and success of all assigned projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and checking designs, preparing design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractors
• Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates
• Make recommendations based on knowledge and experience
• Direct and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintain quality standards of all assigned projects
• Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversight
• Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and evaluate technical bids and select equipment
• Devise new approaches to technical problems

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 7 years' with power system design experience
• Experience in electrical codes, motors, switch gears, standards, and criteria for power systems
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Good writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
• Willing to travel and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-up
• Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
• Position may involve a client site assignment lasting several months at a time
• Professional Engineering License preferred
