About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position working on the 1st shift with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Selects and receives incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders received from stores.
  • Relocates merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Sorts, organizes, and loads merchandise strategically for shipment and unloads incoming shipments from trucks/back-hauls.
  • Performs general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
  • Takes inventory counts and provides input to improve processes.
  • Inspects product quality, consults with management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Acts conscientiously, collaborates with team members, demonstrates a positive attitude, and drives for success.
  • Ability to interpret company policies, excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic arithmetic skills, and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment

Our warehouse operates in varying temperatures, hot and cold, including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments. You will frequently lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights, move merchandise from warehouse stock, and prepare product for store deliveries.
