Event Valet Attendant at Selig Parking

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with outstanding communication abilities and a positive demeanor to fill our positions for Valet Attendants during various special events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist arriving and departing guests with a friendly attitude.
  • Efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles.
  • Open doors and provide guests with necessary information and directions.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate event timings.

Ideal Candidate:
The perfect candidate will possess at least one year of customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and a love for working outdoors. We seek individuals who embody a positive spirit and can deliver exceptional hospitality.

Essential Duties:
  • Greet guests within 30 seconds and provide professional, prompt, and friendly service.
  • Safely park and retrieve vehicles.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with all guests and colleagues.
  • Follow standard operating procedures.
  • Secure all vehicle keys immediately.
  • Adhere to uniform and appearance standards.
  • Ensure that every guest's valet experience is memorable.
  • Quickly retrieve vehicles as needed.
  • Drive cautiously when presenting vehicles to guests.
  • Be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Possess the ability to see clearly at various distances and adjust focus as necessary.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Standard English.
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions.
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to walk, run, and use hands effectively.
  • Must have good vision and depth perception.
