As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and registered nurses.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinate discharge planning.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital operations.
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- IV Certified or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate: $33-$46 USD per hour.
