Job Summary: The AM Assistant Receiver will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to provide support to warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, replenishing, and inventory control. This role ensures that all customer orders are completed efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate STAND UP ELECTRIC FORKLIFT safely and efficiently.
  • Support receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and supporting program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Ensure the warehouse meets AIB and NFS standards by keeping it clean and compliant.
  • Support workloads and productivity by completing receiving and put-away tasks in a timely manner and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Comply with OSHA standards and company safety requirements.
  • Cover other areas of the warehouse as needed and support day operations when the day manager is unavailable.
  • Record and document all necessary documentation and report discrepancies to AP, Purchasing, and Operations Management.
  • Schedule inbound trucks properly and ensure product arrives in a wholesome intact condition.
  • Properly receive inbound loads, record entries accurately, and scan products according to purchase orders.
  • Monitor product levels and rotation.
  • Help stock, manage, and locate inbound products.
  • Support other warehouse functions as needed.
  • Clean and document sanitation in receiving docks and maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
  • Complete warehouse operational requirements by finishing daily tasks and reporting receiving documents to AP and Operations Manager.
  • Receive and log Lumping checks appropriately and send to accounting.
